What’s your relationship with vegetables?
Tell me if you can relate…
I grew up eating vegetables in the form of canned veggies and iceberg lettuce salads. Veggies weren’t exactly my favorite.
It wasn’t until I got really into cooking and playing with different recipes (and spending HOURS watching the Food Network) that I discovered that veggies don’t have to suck.
Vegetables are one of the most nutrient-dense foods that we can eat, yet most of us don’t eat enough of them.
Because we don’t like them.
Or we think we don’t like them.
What’s your story with vegetables? Reflect on the following:
Did you grow up, like me, eating sad and soggy vegetables?
What about vegetables do you not enjoy?
Have you been over-exposed to the same few vegetables, and are getting tired of them?
Or are you team #moreveggiesthanavegetarian?
