Did you drink enough water today?

Did you know that WATER is the most common nutrient deficiency in America?

Even with all our beverage choices, we simply aren’t drinking enough water. We are drinking more liquids AND chronically dehydrated.

When we are dehydrated, we may experience the following:

  • dry skin

  • constipation

  • hemorrhoids

  • muscle cramps

  • headaches

  • fatigue

  • moodiness

How do we know how much water should we be drinking?

Use this super-sinchie formula to find where to start with pure water:

Bodyweight (lbs)/2 = minimum oz of water

For example, if you weigh 160 'lbs, your minimum water intake would be 80 oz of water (If you are over 200 lbs, I'd shoot for about 100 oz, and see how you feel).

If you are very active or it is hot and humid, or you consume caffeine, alcohol, soda, or juice, add more water!

On most days, I drink roughly 1 gallon (128 oz)-- I drink a few cups of coffee in the am and I train pretty hard, so my body requires more water throughout the day. Sometimes I'm under, and sometimes I'm over, but I make sure I hit my minimum ounces by using this formula.

What are some ways you could increase your water intake?
